Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and learn a little about the TKR difference. When I first established TKR Heavy equipment in 2010, my vision was clear. I was determined to utilise my industry experience and build a strong foundation of customer service and professionalism enabling our clients to deliver what they promised.
Over the years my vision has become a reality as TKR has built long-lasting business relationships that are mutually beneficial, and a fleet with an extensive range of plant and equipment, all of which are equipped with the latest tooling and technology.
At TKR Heavy Equipment, we have and will always strive to provide exceptional customer service and to use our expert opinions to help deliver the best outcomes for all our customer’s projects. TKR HEAVY EQUIPMENT
Thomas Kingsley Resources Pty Ltd trading as TKR Heavy Equipment is a privately owned company that was established in 2010. Our founder saw a need in the market for a plant and equipment supplier who was committed to the successful delivery of client’s projects. With this vision and focus TKR has successfully seen our clients deliver on-time and on- budget. Taking the time to understand our clients requirements and what they are trying to achieve has allowed TKR to mature into the company it is today.
TKR Heavy Equipment are committed to safety. Our safe systems of work and internal recognition programs have help instil our safety culture. From the managing director to the coal-face, we are all committed to a safe work place.
Our fleet comprises a broad range of plant and equipment, all of which are equipped with the latest tooling and technology, including specialised tooling to undertake detailed rock work within road, rail, tunnel and gas infrastructure projects. Our array of attachments covers every aspect of earthmoving and materials handling. TKR utilise Topcon & Trimble machine GPS systems and position management for our excavators, dozers, compactors and graders.
Whether its construction, mining or bulk earth works, it is easy to see why many of Australia’s largest mining and construction companies continue to use TKR Heavy Equipment for their wet and dry hiring needs. With TKR heavy Equipment you know you are in safe hands because our hardworking and punctual staff members are able to reliably deliver our plant and equipment onsite when needed to most centres in Queensland and New South wales.
TKR has one of the most extensive plant hire fleets in Queensland. However, in the unlikely event that you have a specialised need that is not currently listed on this site, always remember that one call gets it all. SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
Safety is a major focus. TKR is proud of the safety culture within our organisation. TKR’s Safe Systems of Work are compliant with and facilitate the implementation of our tier 1 client’s requirements. TKR has a successful history working with contractors such as Lend Lease Building Contractors, CPB Contractors, Thiess, BMD and John Holland on various major infrastructure projects throughout QLD and NSW.
Experience is invaluable. Due to the nature of our business, TKR’s management team is able to learn from unique challenges faced by our clients and share this knowledge. TKR has even facilitated the sharing of that knowledge between clients and projects in the past creating efficiencies and reducing overall costs.
Team Work builds projects. Only through working as a team towards a common goal can TKR help our clients deliver projects safely, on time and in a cost effective manner. TKR strongly believes that we are more than another plant hire supplier, we recognise our best assets are our employees. TKR has a strong track record of being able to integrate with project teams from ground level through to senior management – taking pride in becoming part of the project team and delivering.
Quality matters. TKR’s equipment is regularly updated in order to remain at the forefront of our industry and to continue to provide the highest of safety standards. TKR’s reputation for quality has been critical in successfully securing supply agreements for high profile projects.
Diverse range of plant and equipment including a range of specialised attachments not commonly available through general hire companies. This provides our clients with the tooling required to self-perform works that traditionally may have required the engagement of subcontractors.
Technology increases productivity and reduces project costs. TKR recognises the importance technology plays in successfully completing projects on time and on budget. TKR has made considerable investment researching manufacturers and their latest products, building relationships with key market leaders such as TOPCON, and the OEMs, and assisting these companies with in-field beta testing, positioning TKR at the leading edge of these construction technologies.
Innovation is driven by industry necessity. In recent times TKR have recognised several opportunities for innovation and successfully converted these opportunities by developing new products and machine offerings. One such is our own Pipe Handling Solution for gas infrastructure. We have successfully deployed this solution through our clients to service both QGC and Santos gas infrastructure projects.
